Empowering residents to shape their cultural life and offering skills development for artists.
Children's Learning & Development
Artist in Residence: Laura Tully
Laura is an Edinburgh based artist who often collaborates with children and communities around Edinburgh delivering, supporting and developing a number of workshops, projects and learning programmes. She is interested in how collaborative art-making can create spaces for learning, care, connection and how creative activity might help us imagine new ways of being together. For the residency Laura will explore the potential of art and play for children’s wellbeing by forming an after school club at the Community Wellbeing Collective that focuses on process and collaboration with an interest in how knowledge is shared, produced and experienced collectively.
